Feeling Ways About Things
Vintage Miniatures by Paul Chiappe
Did you think you were looking at some quaint, but somewhat unsettling vintage photographs in micro-size form? Then you fail, move on to the next post. Nay, my friends, these are tiny pencil illustrations sketched in the likeness of old, faded yearbook photos and victorian-era family portraits. Paul’s drawings are typically no bigger than 5cm in width, sometimes a ghostly face peering out from behind the gloomy curtain of time is roughly 2mm in today-world size. Hope you’ve got your magnifying glass, because I’m pretty sure I’ve already lost a couple.
