I get hateful, ignorant comments….

This ignorant, bigoted and hateful comment came as a response to this post.
Fact of the matter is that:
1) The Quran talks about Sodom and Gomorrah, and why those people where supposedly destroyed. It is clear that fire is a proper way of dealing with homosexuals (unless god was wrong to do that in that mythical story).

2) The Prophet said that homosexuals should be killed. Period. Unless Muslims consider the Hadiths to be worthless they can’t denied this fact.“Whoever is found conducting himself in the manner of the people of Lot, kill the doer and the receiver.”
3) Fight the feeling? This is just why religion is so wicked. It makes people feel guilty when they have done absolutely nothing wrong. It makes human beings live miserably in denial of who they are all in the name of ignorant superstitions.
4) There is no reason to condemn homosexuality. The claim that homosexuality causes “diseases” can only be believed by those who put myth and superstition above truth and evidence. NOTHING shows that being an homosexual causes a disease. That is a vile, bigoted and ignorant lie that only a non-critical and gullible person can parrot as true. Precisley the one that finds religious assertions about sexuality compelling.
5) “Why is it that people think Islam is all about killing?”Simple: Because that is what the Quran, the Hadiths, Islamic history trough the centuries and Islamic rule, societies and governments all over the middle east have shown for centuries, even to this day. Isn’t that obvious? Why is it that this is obvious to everyone but Muslims themselves? In what make believe world are they living in? I know, it is called religion.
6) It is the religious that need to repent for the centuries of bigotry and hate that their religion has and is causing still. Even if the Islamic god existed and all the assertions of the religion were true (which they are not of course), I could still not support it. I cannot compromise my morality, especially when it is vastly superior to the one spoused by the Islamic god/religion. And for that I am not sorry, not even one bit.<rant=off>
