What do you do, and what do you want to do?
I’m a network administrator for a small company, doing work for a laaaarge organization. I love what I do, just not who I do it for.
A few months ago, I really wanted to leave IT and train dogs for a living. I dream about not having to deal with ignorant co-workers every day, and I love dogs. I love the idea of training working dogs for different purposes.
I haven’t quit (yet)...
I love Spring
On my way up the stairs to work today, I saw a little catterpillar crawling out of a small puddle of fluid - I was afraid someone might’ve stepped on him and his guts came out and he was dying slowly. Not afraid enough to go back and check because, hey, I’m a man with an image to protect.
I worried a little bit about it later on in the day, and it bummed me out a little bit, but...

A confession
I have to get this out in the open, and I fear that it will ostracize me from some of my friends, but…
I don’t get Tim & Eric.
It’s just not funny to me. I think it’s a little weird that the show is popular.
Is this what it feels like to get old and hate rock music? Am i going to start wanting a lawn without neighbor kids on it?

I’m sorry - Does Sarah Palin have a penis sporting a stylish hairdo in this picture? Or a dollop of delicious chocolate ice cream?

Last Night's Dream: Tearing Up Wal-Mart
It wasn’t until I saw a motorcyclist today at lunch that I remembered this:
I was walking along a large area which I think was a dam or something. I came to the halfway point, which had a shipping area, complete with a Wal-Mart.
I was tired of walking by this point, so I hopped on a red sportbike parked ass-hattily by the door as some cyclists often do. I revved the engine, and headed...

Answers You Never Knew You Wanted
I only had two people ask questions. I fucking hate you all (minus 2).
penbleth asked: which is heavier, red or yellow?
This is a very good question. Red is heavier because it is more densely packed.
shawnaf asked: Should I go to this tweetup on the 9th?
Yes.
I love Shawna's Mom
shawnaf:
Me: It must suck to work in those not-even-a-cubicle things.
Mom: It’s not so bad. We work really close on projects. Easy to see what others are doing without even getting up.
Me: I need walls.
Mom: True, it was bad when they had me near the bathroom. I told them to put up a wall or move me. My boss said she wouldn’t do either.
Me: Did you make a wall out of filing...

Changing things up a bit...
When I set this up, I hadn’t anticipated tying it to my main Twitter account. Having done so, however, I figured it would be a good idea to change the name and URL to match. So, for those of you who were following OrdinaryAgent on Tumblr, it’s me.

Welcome, Adult, To the Internet - A Public Service...
Hello, Adult, and welcome to the internet. If you are reading this, it’s likely that someone has noticed that you are an older adult who has never gotten on the internet before and wants to help you assimilate into the culture, or not look like an idiot. It’s likely that you’ve already made a fool out of yourself on Twitter, Facebook, or MySpace, or even a blog and...
